Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa. We wish you all a great holiday season and a wonderful New Year to come. We would like to thank everyone for their continual support of our office and referrals. We are successful because of you. Like every year, 2012 had many fun and exciting events. We had patients announcing pregnancy, giving births, getting engaged/married, moving onto college, and moving out of the parents' house. I remember all those great feelings. They are wonderful because they are all landmarks in life. We all pray our children get to experience the uniqueness of their own paths and see them grow. But unlike other years, 2012 ended with a tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims, their families, friends and communities. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we continue to celebrate this season. Words cannot describe how happy I am when I get to hear and see my kids scream. At least they are alive. Because we are all parents, this tragedy is unfathomable.
But life continues for most of us who are far away from Newtown, CT. My children continues to go to school and come home to me. I cannot express my gratitude for that simple, "taken for granted" gesture. If they think I hug them too tight before, man, they have something new coming towards them now. Even the "You're mean, mama," sounds good to me. We know we are very blessed to have our children around us. This year we went out to Santana Row for an office luncheon. We had lots of fun at Santana Row scaring passerby's and foreigners. Craziness is typical if you're a local. So we got a chance to end our work year on a good and happy note. We wish all of you a healthy and happy New Year. We look forward to seeing all of you in 2013 with more therapy sessions and dental work. Remember to floss! Best Wishes, Dr. Vu |
